Chad Bolick, Director, CSR Strategy
Chad is responsible for the overall direction of HERproject activities at BSR and manages our relationship with the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, our primary funder. He has carried out HERproject fieldwork in China, India and Viet Nam and continues to work closely with BSR members companies on outreach and recruitment. Chad also works with primary project partner, Extending Service Deliver, to bolster the business case for health programming.
Ayesha Khan, Manager, Advisory Services
Ayesha conducted the initial scoping visit to Pakistan to better understand the unmet health needs of factory workers and set up the Levi Strauss & Company and Agha Khan University partnership. She is actively involved in linking multinational and NGO partners to expand HERproject’s reach and access to workers.
Cody Sisco, Manager, Advisory Services
Cody conducted the Mexico-based field work for HERproject to identify the most important unmet health needs of women factory workers in Mexico and to identify best practices in meeting those needs in a factory context. He continues to support outreach to brands and to link them with local health services providers in Mexico and India.
Shirley Xue, Manager, BSR China Office
Shirley leads HERproject in China and provides regional support in Viet Nam. In 2007, she managed the successful implementation of pilot projects in five factories in southern China.
Racheal Yeager, Associate, CSR Strategy
Racheal supports factory-based HERproject pilots in all five focus countries, as well as Mexico. She is actively involved in new program alignment and HERproject communications. She also provides assistance for HERproject development outreach and member company recruitment.

Shawn MacDonald, PhD, Senior Advisor, CSR
Shawn is the Senior Advisor on Corporate Social Responsibility at ESD and for other Meridian Group International, Inc. projects. With Meridian and through leadership positions at Verite and the Fair Labor Association, he has worked with a wide variety of companies, industry groups, NGOs, and governments on health, labor, and environmental issues in the workplace and community. Shawn was formerly Vice President of Ashoka and has worked on social entrepreneurship, CSR, and international development issues with the World Bank, WorldTeach, Social Impact and other institutions.
David Wofford, Senior Commercial Advisor
David is the Senior Commercial Advisor for Meridian Group International at ESD, a USAID-funded global project in reproductive health and family planning, where he develops and manages health partnerships with the private sector. Before ESD, he provided strategic and communications advice at International Finance Corporation, working on IFC's new social and environmental performance standards. David has held senior positions in the U.S. government, including at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. He started a consulting company that provided strategic guidance in CSR to corporations and international organizations.
Sridevi Kalavakolanu, Consultant
Sridevi is involved in outreach, research and implementation of HERproject in India. Over the past decade, Sridevi has held management positions with Wal-Mart’s Ethical Standards Program in India, BSR in San Francisco and Ashoka in Washington D.C. She currently assists global corporations on strategies to mitigate risks related to supply chain management and labor and human rights compliance, with a particular focus on sourcing operations in South and South-east Asia from her base in Bangalore, India.
